A brief lesson on China's State Owned Enterprises

A very large portion of the Chinese economy is in the hands of state owned enterprises (SOEs). These SOEs are concentrated in heavy industry sectors like energy, steel, chemicals and other major areas of the Chinese economy, meaning they will play an influential role in doing business in the region.
