Australia’s leading independent law firm, Corrs Chambers Westgarth, has advised Barrenjoey Markets Pty Limited (Barrenjoey) and Argonaut Securities Pty Limited (Argonaut) in their roles as Joint Lead Managers and Joint Bookrunners of Wiluna Mining Corporation Limited’s (Wiluna) A$180 million initial public offering and ASX re-listing.
Wiluna listed on the Australian Securities Exchange on 22 October 2026 with a market capitalisation of approximately A$472 million.
Wiluna owns the Wiluna Gold Mine, located approximately 900 kilometres north-east of Perth in Western Australia’s Yilgarn Craton. The IPO will fund work supporting exploration and a phased restart of the Wiluna Gold Mine, repay outstanding senior debt and support Wiluna’s ASX re-listing.
The transaction was led by corporate partner Oliver Carrick, supported by partners Shabarika Ajitkumar, Michelle Dean and Lara Hall.
Commenting on the matter, Oliver Carrick said: “We are pleased to advise Barrenjoey and Argonaut on this significant IPO, strengthening their reputation in WA’s gold sector.
“The transaction highlights Corrs’ position as a leading adviser on nuanced and structurally complex capital markets transactions in the Australian resources sector.”
