Australia’s leading independent law firm, Corrs Chambers Westgarth, has advised Frasers Property Australia (Frasers Property) on the A$248 million sale of Ed.Square Town Centre to Assembly Funds Management and PGIM Real Estate.

Ed.Square Town Centre is a convenience and leisure-based neighbourhood located in south-west Sydney, spanning more than 24,500 square metres. The centre was developed by Frasers Property and completed in 2021.

The transaction was led by real estate partner Natalie Bryant, and supported by partners Eugenia Kolivos and Costa Koutsis, and a range of experts from across the firm’s real estate, intellectual property and tax practices.

Commenting on the matter, Natalie Bryant said: “We are thrilled to advise Frasers Property on this significant sale, enabling it to realise value from its completed development and redeploy capital into its broader development pipeline.

“The transaction reinforces Corrs’ reputation as a leading adviser on Australian commercial real estate transactions within the retail property sector. It demonstrates our capability in handling complex asset sales involving multiple tenancies and ancillary documentation, and reflects the depth of our longstanding relationship with Frasers Property across all stages of this project.”
