Jennifer specialises in complex international and domestic construction and engineering projects (including delay and disruption, defect and variation claims), and has particular experience in international arbitration and overseas commercial litigation.

She has worked extensively with specialist engineers and other technical experts across a range of industries including energy and resources, renewables, mining, maritime, aviation and shipbuilding. Jennifer has also worked on numerous residential and commercial developments (including landmark properties in both Australia and the UK), as well as scientific and hospital facilities.

An active participant in mentoring and recruitment, Jennifer leads Corrs’ arbitration conference committee and is a member of the firm’s Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) Committee. She holds first class law degrees from Oxford and Cambridge and has held many distinguished awards, including a British Academy scholarship.

Gas processing facility

Assisting clients on significant claims relating to construction of a gas processing facility by an international joint venture. This included claims by the head-contractor and sub-contractor and involved aspects of adjudication, court proceedings, expert determination and ICC arbitration.

SIAC Arbitration in Asia

Assisting an Asian EPC contractor (Stock Exchange listed) in respect of a renewables project in the Philippines, including emergency arbitration and international litigation for related claims.

World-class hospital

Assisting Australian contractor with construction claims arising in connection with very high-grade specification for a hospital and scientific facility.

Onshore LNG Processing

Assisted on a large-scale complex adjudication arising in connection with a major international project in Australia.

UNCITRAL arbitration

Assisting an Australian contractor in respect of claims and counterclaims in connection with construction projects in Papua New Guinea.

Mining Project in Australia

Providing long term input to state government in respect of an A$3 billion international mining project, including feasibility, procurement, design, construction, leases and related rail and port access.

International Energy Company

Assisting a major international energy company in connection with disputes arising from activities in the USA, general litigation, projects and commercial issues across its other world-wide businesses.

Aircraft manufacture

Assisting an American household name client in respect of an ICC arbitration relating to the design and development of hi-tech engineering products.

Sovereign State dispute: Motorway construction

Assisting a Spanish contractor in connection with claims arising from a motorway construction project in the Caribbean, including commercial mediation and settlement.


Assisting an Asian shipyard in connection with a detailed legal and technical arbitration claim arising from construction of a pipe-laying vessel for a European customer.

UK Government scientific laboratory

Instructed by the Department of Trade and Industry in London regarding the design and construction of world-class laboratory facilities, including Steering Group committee involvement and multiple dispute forums.

Landmark London and Sydney commercial properties

Assisting several different English and international institutions with claims arising in respect of design, construction and development of key London properties, including several renowned locations and designs.
