With over 36 years’ experience in planning, environment and property law, Christine is recognised as a market-leader, having played a pivotal role in countless property transactions, urban renewal developments, landmark infrastructure projects and mining projects.
As a property lawyer, as well as a planning and environment specialist, Christine’s unique combination of skills enables her to provide clients with a distinct perspective on property development, planning and environmental compliance. She also has extensive experience acting in planning and environment appeals in the NSW Land and Environment Court.
Christine is the Chair of the ACT City Renewal Authority and an Industrial Committee Member of the Property Council of Australia. Christine is a former board member of the NSW Environment Protection Authority, Barangaroo Delivery Authority and City West Housing Pty Limited, an affordable housing provider. She served as a representative for the state government on the Central Sydney Planning Committee for two years.
Christine is Corrs’ Head of Gender Equality. In this role, she oversees the firm’s gender equality agenda and initiatives aimed at driving continuous improvement in this area.

Infrastructure NSW – Central Barangaroo development
Leading Infrastructure NSW through the successful approval of the planning of the Central Barangaroo development, including advising on complex and contentious concept plan approval modifications.
Transgrid – HumeLink
Acting for Transgrid on its HumeLink transmission project, connecting the Snowy Hydro 2.0 hydropower generation facility to the national electricity grid via a 500 kW transmission line traversing highly productive farm land and environmentally sensitive areas including a World Heritage listed national park.
Transgrid – Powering Sydney’s Future
Acting for Transgrid on its complex metropolitan transmission project involving 20 km of 330 kV underground cables between the densely developed suburbs of Potts Hill and Alexandria in Sydney. The lines traversed parks, rail lines, rivers and roads as well as significant amounts of privately-owned property. Christine advised on the compulsory acquisition of easements and other access rights as well as the State Significant Infrastructure planning and environmental approval.
Green Square Consortium and Landcom
Advising Green Square Consortium on its A$77 million planning agreement with the City of Sydney to establish a precinct-based tri-generation system.
Mach Energy
Conducting environmental and planning due diligence, arranging the acquisition of water rights and defending a Land and Environment Court challenge for Mach Energy in relation to its Mt Pleasant coal mine development in the NSW Hunter Valley.
Stockland
Acting on Land and Environment Court appeals for Stockland’s Merrylands Shopping Centre and Little Bay medium-density developments as well as advising on voluntary planning agreements for its Merrylands, Elara Marsden Park, Willowdale East Leppington and Altrove developments. Christine has also advised on planning issues relating to Stockland’s land lease communities in NSW.
Australian Turf Club
Advised the Australian Turf Club on site contamination and waste issues, planning issues at Canterbury and Randwick Racecourses and Aboriginal land rights issues, and on a development agreement with Transport for NSW. Acted on the Club’s project delivery agreement at Canterbury.
Urban renewal
Acted for Carlton United Breweries on decommissioning, rezoning and disposal of the Kent Brewery site in Sydney. Acted for British American Tobacco on its Pagewood facilities. Acted for Fairfax on its disposal of former print facilities. Advised a Johnson & Johnson subsidiary on the staged disposal of its Caringbah plant. Acted for Clorox on the disposal and leaseback of its southern Sydney facility.
