Acted for BG Group/Shell on the A$21 billion Queensland Curtis LNG Project. Queensland Curtis LNG is the world’s first coal seam gas to LNG project.

Pacific Energy

Advised Pacific Energy as the sponsor of the Perth Biomass Power Station Project. Corrs has advised on all aspects of the project, including the PPA, the procurement of fuel (forest plantation residue), fuel transportation, the EPC contract, and equity and project finance arrangements for the development of a 40-45 MW renewable energy power station.

Victorian Reverse Auction – VRET

Advised the Victorian Government on the negotiation and finalisation of two projects forming part of the Victorian Renewable Energy Target Reverse Auction.

Victorian Schools Building Authority

Represented the Authority with its successful defence of an appealed Security of Payment Adjudication in the reported Supreme Court decision of Contract Control Services v DET [2017] VSC 507 (30 August 2017).

Philippines biofuel plant

Advising a publicly-listed Asia-based engineering, construction and procurement company on a significant arbitration arising out of the engineering and construction of a large biofuel (sugar cane to ethanol) facility in the Philippines. The arbitration is seated in Singapore.

Roy Hill

Advised and represented Hancock Prospecting in a number of complex and high value arbitrations arising out of the delivery of the AU$7.2 billion Roy Hill iron ore mine development project in Western Australia.

Confidential LNG project

Successfully advised an overseas contractor in connection with a US$700 million international arbitration arising from a large LNG project.

Coles Group

Corrs acted for Coles Group in relation to the delivery of two new ambient automated distribution centres in Sydney and Brisbane.

Murray Goulbourn Cooperative

Drafted and negotiated all construction and equipment supply agreements for the delivery of capital works projects, including integrating new warehouse, manufacturing and distribution facilities to support MGC’s A$2 billion milk supply agreement with Coles.

Woolworths

Drafted and negotiated the design and construction agreements for its national chain of Masters hardware stores, various supermarket developments and upgrades, as well as to construct and integrate racking systems for a multi-million dollar state warehousing and logistics facility in Dandenong, Victoria.

Casey Hospital Expansion

Advised the Department of Health and Human Services on the A$134.91 million procurement and contractual structures for the expansion of the existing Casey Hospital PPP.

Airport Link Tunnel

Advised Thiess on its EPC contract for the design, engineering, procurement and installation of the ticketing technology and infrastructure and associated disputes for this iconic new tunnel in Brisbane, valued at A$4.8 billion.

Schools PPP Project

Advised the Victorian Department of Education on delivery of the new Victorian Schools PPP project and the services phase of the PViS schools PPP project. In addition, assisted and advised the State Solicitors Office of WA on all aspects of the procurement of the WA schools PPP.

Sunshine Coast University Hospital PPP

Advised the Queensland Government on completion of the Sunshine Coast University Hospital. Previously acted for UGL as facilities management provider as part of a consortium bidding for the project.
