  • $740 million takeover offer for Austereo Group Lead the transaction team that advised Southern Cross Media Group on its $740 million takeover offer for Austereo Group, Justin provided advice on all aspects of the takeover including deal negotiation, due diligence, transaction financing and competition law aspects.
  • Foster’s Group Limited demerger Advised Foster’s on the demerger of Treasury Wine Estates Limited.
  • Liquidation of Timbercorp Group Justin was the principal adviser to KordaMentha, the liquidators of the Timbercorp Group, on the realisation of more than $500 million of plantation assets. This significant transaction has been described as one of the most complex in Australian corporate history.
  • $6 billion Vodafone merger with Hutchison Whampoa Advised Vodafone Australia on its $6 billion merger with the Australian mobile business of Hutchison Whampoa.
  • US$940 million joint venture between AED and Sinopec International Petroleum Justin advised AED on the establishment of a US $940 million joint venture with Sinopec International Petroleum, including the sale of 60% of AED's offshore oil production interests to Sinopec for US$561 million.
  • Southern Cross Broadcasting (Australia) Limited and Macquarie Media Group merger Acted for Southern Cross in its recommended merger by way of scheme of arrangement with Macquarie Media Group.
