An experienced restructuring and insolvency lawyer, Tom has a diverse practice with a particular focus on the energy, mining and financial services sectors, clients in heavily regulated and politically-sensitive industries, and inbound foreign investors in Australian businesses and assets.
He has extensive experience with restructuring transactions, formal insolvency processes and corporations litigation. Tom has litigated several issues of first impression under the Corporations Act and Personal Property Securities Act and advised on a number of novel and innovative transaction structures.
Tom is admitted to practice in both Australia and the United States, where he previously spent time working in the New York office of a leading American law firm.
