Thomas’ area of practice is focused primarily on dispute resolution and dispute avoidance. He has experience advising and representing clients in relation to a wide range of issues arising out of construction projects.
His experience in construction and infrastructure-related disputes includes international and domestic arbitration, court proceedings and mediation. Thomas is also familiar with advising claimants and respondents in adjudications under the Building and Construction Industry Payment Act.
Thomas is the Chair of the Editorial Board of the Construction Law International Journal, which is published by the International Construction Projects Committee of the International Bar Association. He is also a member of the Society of Construction Law Australia.
