With over 10 years’ experience as a banking and finance solicitor, Stanley has practiced in leading international law firms in Australia and Hong Kong.
He has acted on various acquisition, corporate and property debt financings in Asia, America and Europe – in particular Australia, Hong Kong and China. These transactions have involved various sectors including real estate, energy and resources, logistics, retail and social housing.
Stanley has advised banks, non-bank lenders, conglomerates, joint ventures, listed companies and private equity funds across the Asia-Pacific region.
He is admitted in New South Wales and Hong Kong.
Acted for ESR on financing its public takeover and privatisation of Propertylink Group (which was listed on the ASX), and its launch of an Australian logistics joint venture with GIC, a Singapore-based sovereign wealth fund.
Acted for a global private equity group listed on the New York Stock Exchange on financing its various real estate assets in Australia. This included office buildings, logistics centres, residential apartments, self-storage facilities, shopping centres and warehouses.
Acted for HousingFirst in respect of financing its acquisition of social and affordable housing apartments in Victoria.
Acted for various lending banks in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan in respect of financing of real estate acquisitions and developments in China (including office, retail and logistics assets). Borrowers include listed companies, conglomerates, private equity groups and joint ventures.
