Sian Ainsworth

Sian's practice extends across the full range of workforce and industrial relations matters, including employment litigation involving significant reputational and commercial risk, enterprise bargaining, misconduct investigations and strategic employment advice. Her clients span the Victorian and Commonwealth public sectors, as well as the higher education, financial technology and real estate industries.

Prior to joining Corrs, Sian was Associate to a Judge of the Supreme Court of Victoria, Court of Appeal, where she developed strong technical legal skills and a deep understanding of litigation strategy. She has also completed secondments with the Victorian Department of Education and Swinburne University of Technology.

Sian also has an extensive pro bono practice, advising organisations such as Anti-Slavery Australia, Refugee Legal and UN Women Australia on strategic litigation and employment matters.

Sian is a member of the Industrial Relations Society of Victoria.
