Richard is an experienced tax controversy specialist, advising national and global clients on the conduct and resolution of complex tax disputes. He is a trusted advisor across the full spectrum of a tax controversy, from the early stages of ATO engagement and audits and information gathering through to objections, litigation and dispute resolution.

Richard’s focus area is international taxation, particularly source, permanent establishments, royalties, transfer pricing and the application of the general anti-avoidance rules and diverted profits tax.  

Richard also provides clients strategic support in relation to transactions, advisory matters, prudential reviews and disputes across a range of tax issues.
