Philip has over 10 years’ experience working on construction and complex projects within the infrastructure, resources and renewable energy sectors in the United Kingdom, Europe, Africa and Australia.

He regularly acts for governments, owners, operators and financiers designing procurement strategies, negotiating project agreements and providing support on projects in distress.   

Philip specialises in energy from waste and renewable energy projects. He is passionate about projects that focus on decarbonisation and impact investing that drives positive social and environmental change.

Philip has held various community leadership roles including on the HIA legal and industrial relations committee and as a board member of the WA mental health charity, zero2hero.  He is also a member of the Clean Energy Council – Renewable Hydrogen Directorate and the Waste Management & Resource Recovery Association of Australia

Mitsui, Beach Energy

Advised Mitsui and Beach Energy on the Waitsia Stage 2 gas project.


Advised M&G Real Estate on the acquisition and development of the US$1 billion Gotham Towers project in London.
