Milaan is a planning and environment lawyer, practising in areas including native tile, Aboriginal cultural heritage and compulsory acquisition law.
Milaan is experienced in planning and environment court litigation, acting on behalf of developers in relation to high-rise residential, childcare centres and large mixed-use developments. He also advises state and local governments on issues such as heritage, groundwater extraction and urban development.
He has acted for project proponents in preparing and negotiating Indigenous land use agreements and cultural heritage management plans. He also has experience in federal court proceedings, including non-claimant applications on behalf of government bodies.
