A specialist environment and planning lawyer with dual qualifications in civil engineering and law, Louise has a skill set that spans transactional, litigious and advisory work.

Throughout her career, Louise has advised both government and private sector clients across a broad range of property, planning and environmental matters relating to residential, commercial and industrial developments and major infrastructure and resources projects.

Louise’s planning experience includes negotiating and drafting planning agreements and providing advice in relation to planning approval and land re-zoning pathways. In the environmental space, Louise has expertise in water law, climate change, contamination, pollution and biodiversity, and has acted on various energy and resources projects including coal and mineral mines, coal seam gas projects and quarries.

She is an experienced litigator, having successfully acted on a number of development appeals and compulsory acquisition and compensation proceedings in the NSW Land and Environment Court.

Louise is an editor of the Australian Environment Review and was formerly a tipstaff to Her Hon Justice Pepper of the NSW Land and Environment Court. Louise is actively involved in Corrs’ mentoring and pro bono programs.
