Liam Ogburn

Liam is a commercial litigator who practises in complex commercial disputes, white-collar crime and regulatory investigations. He has experience advising and acting in disputes before the NSW courts, various interstate courts, the Federal Court of Australia and the High Court of Australia. 

Liam has extensive experience representing major corporate entities in investigations and enforcement actions led by ASIC, the ACCC, the AFP and APRA. He has particular expertise in white collar crime matters, including insider trading, market manipulation, anti-bribery and corruption, and anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing. 

Liam has also taught as a sessional academic at the University of Sydney Law School and worked as a legal researcher at the University of Cambridge, focusing on the normative influence of ESG obligations on corporate governance and corporate decision-making.
