Kishan specialises in the development and delivery of energy projects across Australia and New Zealand. With a decade of sector-specific experience, including as counsel at a large gentailer in New Zealand, Kishan has acted on a range of projects spanning wind, solar, geothermal, battery storage transmission and traditional energy.
His core expertise lies in structuring and negotiating complex project documentation within the energy sector. This includes all forms of offtake and power purchase agreements, joint venture and partnership agreements, project development agreements, operations and maintenance contracts, and connection agreements. Kishan also regularly advises on mergers and acquisitions in the energy sector.
In 2024, Kishan was recognised as an NZ Lawyer Rising Star and was also awarded an Excellence Award in the New Zealand Young Private Practice Lawyer of the Year category at the New Zealand Law Awards.
