Jared is a government advisory expert, with extensive experience working with both public and private sector clients. He has advised on major projects involving Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) and other structures, and led teams working on Royal Commissions, significant legislative, regulatory and policy reviews and other sensitive inquiries.
Jared's practice includes advising on the translation of policy into law, legislative and regulatory drafting and interpretation, administrative and public law risks and mitigation strategies, procurement and probity plans and procedures and contract drafting and management.
Jared was seconded as International Counsel at Soemadipradja & Taher (one of Indonesia’s leading law firms), as Principal Legal Adviser to the Royal Commission into Family Violence and into the Office of General Counsel within the Victorian Department of Health and Human Services during 2020-2021.
Jared serves on the Corrs Diversity & Inclusion Committee and Pride@Corrs Steering Committee and convenes the Melbourne LGBTIQ+ Interfirm Network.
Jared is a director of the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, the South-East Monash Legal Service and the Gorman Foundation, having previously served as a director of the Australia Indonesia Business Council. Jared is also an Honorary Senior Fellow of the Melbourne Law School.
