Emmanuel leads the firm's disputes practice in Papua New Guinea. With two decades as a litigation and commercial lawyer, Emmanuel has advised PNG government entities, regulators, financial institutions, multinational corporations and leading domestic companies across a broad range of complex disputes and commercial matters.

Emmanuel has built enduring client relationships by delivering tailored, cost-effective solutions attuned to the particular challenges of doing business in Papua New Guinea. Combining deep local knowledge with commercial acumen, his practice spans litigation, commercial transactions, corporate governance and regulatory compliance.

Emmanuel's practice highlights include acting as PNG counsel for Petromin PNG Holdings Limited on its acquisition of the State's interest in the Nautilus mining project, advising the State on its acquisition of Oil Search shares and being appointed by the PNG Government as Counsel Assisting the Commission of Inquiry into the MV Rabaul Queen tragedy, working alongside Australian barrister Mal Varitimos KC.

Beyond private practice, Emmanuel has contributed to the development of the legal profession in Papua New Guinea as a Council member of the Papua New Guinea Law Society since 2018.
