Eleanor specialises in international commercial and investment arbitration, advising Australian and overseas clients at all stages of a dispute, from initiation through to enforcement.
Eleanor has extensive experience advising on investment treaty claims and restructuring, the enforcement of arbitral awards in Australia and issues of foreign state immunity. She also advises clients on public international law matters, including obligations under the law of the sea and human rights law.
Eleanor has contributed to a range of academic and industry publications. She is a regular contributor to the Investor-State Law Guide, Lexology In-Depth and Kluwer Arbitration Blog, writing on investment arbitration and arbitration in Australia. Her co-authored paper on multi-party and multi-contract construction arbitration was awarded the Society of Construction Law Australia's Brooking Prize in 2024 and published in the International Construction Law Review.
Eleanor has also presented at ACICA's Australian Arbitration Week and is a member of the ACICA45 Steering Committee.
