Catherine practices in general commercial litigation, with a particular focus on cross-border disputes and international commercial arbitration.
She has significant experience advising on the enforcement of arbitral awards and foreign judgments, arbitration and dispute resolution clauses, extradition, misleading and deceptive conduct and contract disputes.
In addition to her file work, Catherine is actively involved in the firm’s pro bono initiatives. She is a volunteer lawyer with Justice Connect, and has a particular focus on business and human rights and Indigenous rights.
A finalist in the Lawyers’ Weekly 30 Under 30 Awards in the Dispute Resolution (2018) and Litigation and Pro Bono categories (2019), Catherine is the current ICC Young Arbitrator Forum representative for Australia and was a Melbourne ICCA Ambassador for 2018. She was also the co-chair of the Law Institute of Victoria’s international law section for five years, where she was co-organiser of its inaugural international commercial arbitration moot in Victoria.
