Benedict is a finance and commercial lawyer with broad experience in bilateral, syndicated, cross-border and Islamic financings, with a particular focus in project financing.
He has advised borrowers, sponsors, contractors and financial institutions, including export credit agencies, multilateral, commercial and Islamic banks, on the development and financing of major energy and infrastructure projects in developed and emerging markets.
Benedict is dual qualified in New South Wales and Singapore, bringing an international perspective to his work. He has worked across a variety of sectors, including construction, power (conventional and renewables), oil and gas (including LNG), transportation and mining.
His practice includes clients and cross-border transactions in jurisdictions such as Papua New Guinea, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, China, Japan, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Mongolia.
