Andrew is a financing specialist with extensive experience advising clients on a range of project finance, corporate finance, acquisitions and leveraged finance transactions, including multi-source debt finance transactions in Australia and internationally.

Andrew advises on the full spectrum of financing across bank debt, private credit, multilateral institutions and capital markets. He has experience advising on fund-level NAV and capital call facilities as well as restructuring transactions. His clients span, the infrastructure, energy, resources and financial services sectors.

Andrew has spent a large portion of his career abroad with market-leading legal practices in London and Dubai, working on various complex cross-border transactions.

AusNet financing

Advising the lenders in relation to a Brookfield led consortium in respect of the US$1.4 billion acquisition financing of AusNet, a large Australian energy delivery services business.

Port of Geelong acquisition

Advising the lenders in relation to a successful bid by Stone Peak and Spirit Super for the A$1.1 billion acquisition of the Port of Geelong (a bulk port in the state of Victoria).

Schwartz Hotel Group

Advising the Schwartz Hotel Group in relation to the A$900 million refinancing of their bank debt facilities with Blackstone.

JP Morgan

Advising JP Morgan in relation to an equity collar financing for Grok Ventures in respect of their partial acquisition of AGL.

Crown Group acquisition

Advising BREDS and Starwood in relation to the debt financing of Blackstone’s A$8.9 billion acquisition of the Crown Group.
