Sarah is an experienced property and infrastructure lawyer who specialises in major acquisitions and disposals, large-scale infrastructure projects, property development and project work, leasing (commercial, retail and industrial) and residential land subdivision.

Sarah has built a reputation as an exceptional transactional lawyer who understands her clients’ business needs, identifies commercial resolutions and consistently delivers strong results.

A key organiser of the Corrs Women’s Speed Mentoring initiative, Sarah is known for her dedication to mentoring junior professionals. She has previously acted in the roles of Chairperson, Treasurer and Secretary of the Urban Land Institute in Brisbane and is currently a member of the Queensland Law Society.

Queensland Curtis LNG Project, QGC

Advised on the QLCNG infrastructure project, including negotiating with private landowners, local authorities, petroleum companies and State government departments on conduct and compensation agreements, licences, permissions, easements and land access arrangements over freehold and State leasehold tenures. Advised on the interpretation of the provisions of the relevant petroleum legislation.

BP International disposal of bitumen business

Advised on the sale of BP’s bitumen facilities across Australia to Puma Energy, including the disposal of substantial pipeline infrastructure, which included negotiation of the asset sale agreement, complex easements and leases, service agreements and ancillary deeds over State leasehold land.

Represented Blackstone Property Group in numerous complex acquisitions and disposals of commercial, retail and industrial property assets across Australia.

Petrie Mill, Orora

Acted on the disposal of the Petrie Paper Mill, involving the negotiation of the contract of sale including complex decommissioning and remediation arrangements.
