Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads

Advised on the procurement of a next generation ticketing system for public transport. Provided legal services for the duration of the multi-staged procurement process, including procurement process documents, project agreement, contract negotiation and finalisation with the successful proponent. Advised on a range of legal issues that arose during the procurement process, and provides ongoing contract management advice.

Queensland Department of Science, Innovation and Information Technology

Advising on its ICT Modernisation Project, including the extensive review and rewrite of the Government Information Technology Contracting Framework. The project involved conducting workshops with industry and government stakeholders to discuss and refine contract terms and positions, and drafting the new QITC contract documents suite and supporting user guide material.

Advising on major ICT projects including: statewide automated dispensing cabinets; regional ehealth project; electronic medical records system; cardiology imaging system; laboratory information management system; clinical content and patient entertainment system; building management system; medication management system; online learning system; capacity and workflow management system; medical credentialing solution; picture archiving and communications system; and a communications system.

Queensland University of Technology

Advised on major and complex ICT procurement projects for core business software such as QUT’s student management system; student portal; student and staff email; file storage infrastructure; chemical management system; student placement system; marketing automation system; timetabling software; fundraising and constituent relationship management; student monitoring, intervention and case management solution; platform service for Massive Open Online Course Program; and student engagement and development system.

Suncorp

Advised on its core system platform replacement project. Advised on request for tender documentation, confidentiality deeds and evaluation of responses. Negotiated a suite of software licensing, software as a service and implementation services arrangements.
