A dual-qualified lawyer in Australia and New York, Marco has extensive experience in domestic and international arbitrations as well as State and federal litigation. His practice focuses on arbitration, arbitration-related litigation, and disputes and advisory work relating to international investment treaties.
He has acted in arbitrations under the UNCITRAL, ICC, ACICA, and HKIAC Rules in disputes seated in East Asia, the Middle East and Australia across the financial services, infrastructure, energy, and mining and resources sectors. He has additional expertise in UN and autonomous sanctions and regularly advises clients on their compliance with these regimes.
Marco previously worked in the Melbourne and Sydney offices of leading national and international firms. Prior to entering private practice, he served as an Associate to the Honourable Justice Melanie Sloss in the Supreme Court of Victoria.
Marco holds a doctorate in law from the University of Sydney.
