Jürgen has more than 20 years’ experience assisting foreign and local clients to obtain, manage and enforce trade mark rights.

Focus areas range from strategic advisory services and clearance searches, to prosecution, oppositions and dispute resolution. He also advises on copyright and Australian Consumer Law issues as well as IT related matters ranging from cybersquatting to cyber fraud.

Jürgen brings a strong international perspective to the table, which he draws on when advising both his overseas and local clients.

Jürgen is a fellow at the Institute of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys. He is also a member of the Intellectual Property Society of Australia and New Zealand and a VPP – German Association of Intellectual Property Experts.

Supported this client from its start-up phase to its leading position in the global hearables space. Jürgen’s team is engaged in a number of cross-border trade mark disputes relating to copycat products emerging around the globe. In addition, Jürgen has guided Nuheara through a series of global trade mark protection campaigns.

7-Eleven

Accompanied this client in its IP matters in Australia for more than a decade. The 7-Eleven Group of companies oversee a significant number of stores in Australia. Jürgen’s team is called upon to enforce 7-Eleven’s existing trade mark rights and to otherwise manage and add to its growing portfolio of marks.
