Last year saw substantial change amidst a series of challenges in the correctional services space. The Royal Commission released its report into youth detention in the Northern Territory, there were further challenges to Victoria's temporary housing of youths in a gazetted unit of an adult prison, class actions progressed and states introduced legislation to address the threat of drones to prison security.
