In the wake of the NSW Liberal/National Party’s election and its promise to repeal Part 3A, the Government has released transitional provisions for Part 3A developments, including the removal from Part 3A of future residential, commercial or retail projects and coastal subdivisions with a capital investment of more than $100 million.
The transitional provisions are included as an amendment to the State Environmental Planning Policy (Major Development) 2005 and commenced on 13 May 2011.
