The Consumer Affairs Legislation Amendment (Reform) Bill 2010 (Vic) (Bill) was introduced into the Legislative Assembly (Assembly) on 27 July 2010. The Bill represents the second phase of reforms flowing from the Consumer Affairs Legislation Modernisation project initiated by the Minister for Consumer Affairs
in early November 2008.
It proposes a range of reforms to consumer protection and business licensing legislation, including the Sale of Land Act 1962 (Vic) (Sale of Land Act).
