  • China Resources (Holdings) Company, Limited and Macquarie Capital Advised the consortium comprising China Resources and Macquarie Capital on the debt arrangements in respect of its acquisition of a majority interest in Genesis Care Limited, Australia’s largest cancer and cardiac services provider.
  • GSO Capital Partners Advised GSO Capital Partners on the debt arrangements, including interim funding, in respect of its $1.3 billion recapitalisation proposal for Arrium Limited
  • Blackstone Real Estate Advised Blackstone in relation to senior and mezzanine debt with respect to the acquisition of numerous shipping centres.
  • Sydney Light Rail Advised the ALTRAC consortium, including Acciona, Alstom, Capella Capital and Transdev, in respect of the debt funding for its successful bid for the Sydney Light Rail PPP.
  • Mirvac Advised Mirvac in relation to vendor financing with respect to its sale to Blackstone Real Estate Asia of 50% of 275 Kent Street, Sydney and a portfolio of non-core assets.
  • Challenger Advised Challenger in relation to the potential restructure and subsequent receivership of Force Corp, and provision of senior debt facilities, receivables financing and securitisations.
  • Electricity supply arrangements Advised Origin Energy in relation to off-take agreements required following its acquisition of the retail business of Country Energy. Advised Loy Yang Power in relation to a long term hedge of a significant portion of its load with Alcoa and the other joint venture participants in relation to the Portland and Point Henry aluminium smelters.
