- Gavilon LLCs Advised on the competition aspects of its proposed acquisition of AWB Limited’s Geneva based trading operations, and the entry of a 50:50 joint venture with AWB Limited for its commodity (grain) trading business
- Andean Resources Advised in relation to competition aspects of the proposed acquisition by Goldcorp of its outstanding shares through a scheme of arrangement
- Huntsman Corporation Advised the global manufacturer of differentiated chemicals in its proposed acquisition of an equity interest in Tronox Inc, and associated Australian assets involved in the production and distribution of titanium dioxide.
- Primo Smallgoods’ acquisition of Hans Smallgoods Successfully obtained ACCC clearance for its acquisition of Hans Continental Smallgoods. This was the first ACCC clearance which accepted the failing firm argument in more than seven years.
- Boeing Inc’s acquisition of Insitu Pty Ltd Acted for Boeing in obtaining ACCC clearance for its global acquisition of Insitu, Inc, a leading global developer and manufacturer of unmanned aerial vehicles.
