Reynah's Expertise
- Foster’s Group Limited Lead tax advisor on the demerger of Foster’s beer and wine businesses and also in relation to the successful defence of the Commissioner’s appeal to the Full Federal Court in relation to assessments totalling $850 million arising from bad debts incurred by the Elders Finance Group in the 1980s and 1990s.
- Government roles on major government projects Advised the Victorian government on tax issues for its School PPP projects ($200 million) and the Victorian Desalination project ($4 billion) and working with the Queensland Department of Transport on the Gold Coast Rapid Transit project ($800 million) and Water Corporation on the Mundaring waste treatment plant in Western Australia.
- Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre and $750 million Peninsula Link project Advised the ConnectSouth Consortium (Macquarie, John Holland, Fulton Hogan) on the tax aspects of its bid for the Peninsula Link project ($750 million) and acting for the Aptus Health Consortium (Macquarie, Brookfield Multiplex and Acciona) on its bid in respect of the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre.
- $4 billion Airport Link project Advised the BrisConnections Consortium (Macquarie, Thiess, John Holland) on all tax issues in respect of its successful bid for the Airport Link Project in Queensland ($4 billion).
- Sale of Timbercorp assets Advised KordaMentha as receiver and manager on tax issues associated with the separate sales of Timbercorp’s foresty, olive and almond plantations.
