- Major IT procurement for NBN Co Advised NBN Co on its acquisition and implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, supporting its key business functions. Involved preparing tender documents and draft contracts; negotiating contracts with Oracle and Accenture Australia.
- Suncorp ICT and general procurement A key advisor to Suncorp’s Group Procurement division, working closely with the Suncorp team on a variety of ICT and general procurement transactions. These include a whole of business telecommunications services tender and resulting services contracts, the establishment of a panel of professional services providers to the Commercial Insurance business, and negotiating and documenting numerous strategic IT procurement projects such as the acquisition of a key voice communications system, a claims costs management software system and the replacement of core business function software and systems.
- Queensland Health Trusted advisor on major ICT procurement and commercial matters, including the acquisition, implementation and support of the Remote Vital Signs system, a clinical costing system, a picture archiving and communications system and medical imaging transfer system for BreastScreen Queensland, an intensive care unit clinical information system, a pharmaceuticals robotics system, and Emergency Department software for project planning and data analysis, all using Queensland Government Information Technology Contracting (GITC) documentation.
- Ergon Energy Advising on all aspects of its establishment of Nexium Telecommunications, a subsidiary providing wholesale telecommunications services in Queensland, including regulatory and carrier licensing issues, access regimes, capacity supply and fibre use agreements with licensed carriers and infrastructure owners including QR Network, customer contracts, and competition law issues.
- ICT for QGC Advising on a number of key ICT procurement projects including the establishment of a core panel of IT service providers; the tender for proposed payroll outsourcing arrangements; the implementation and support of a completions management system; the acquisition of data centre facilities and services, and dark fibre, internet, voice and data services; and regulatory advice on the use of telecommunications equipment at various remote QGC sites.
