- $18.55 million penalty against Telstra by ACCC Acting for the ACCC in the litigation against Telstra concerning access to exchanges in which penalties of $18.55 million were ordered.
- Strong relationship acting for ACCC over the past decade Acting for the ACCC for over ten years in a wide range of enforcement proceedings under Parts IV and V of the TPA relating to cartels, price fixing, resale price maintenance, telecommunications and consumer protection.
- Litigation against Financial Wisdom Limited in Supreme Court of Victoria Acting for 230 plaintiffs in successful funded litigation against Financial Wisdom in the Supreme Court of Victoria. This involved a large number of plaintiffs and documents, and related to losses suffered arising from representations made by proper authority holders concerning tax effective investments.
- Werribee prescribed waste facility litigation against Wyndham Shire Council Acting for CSR against the Wyndham Shire Council in the Werribee prescribed waste facility litigation. The litigation, which ultimately settled, included extensive negotiations with State Government entities.
- Insurance policy advice for government and commercial entities Regularly advises State Government entities and commercial clients on the provisions of their insurance policies including public liability and property cover for risks such as bushfires. Also has extensive experience in organising and renewing insurance cover for the firm and commercial clients
- Represented a diverse range of clients on insurance related matters Acted for Adecco, AMP General Insurance, Aon, Brambles Insurance Services, Chubb, Downer, P&O Services, GIO, Suncorp, Catholic Church Insurance, Westpac Life Insurance and other corporate clients in a wide range of insurance related matters throughout Australia.
- Kew Cottages fire inquest Represented Jonkar Industries Pty Ltd at the inquest into the fire at Kew Cottages. The inquest sat for over six months and involved a large number of represented parties including the families of the deceased, the State of Victoria, and the Metropolitan Fire Brigade.
