Beverly Kennedy

Beverly Kennedy is the head of our Melbourne Planning Environment and Local Government group and is a recognised Leading Lawyer in Environment and Planning, Government Practice, Water Law and Climate Change in Chambers’ Asia-Pacific Legal Directory. She has an outstanding track record in major infrastructure projects (PPP and otherwise) and was the key adviser to Victorian Government on the environmental impact assessment and other approvals for projects such as the Victorian Channel Deepening Project, the Victorian Desalination Project, Northern Victoria Irrigation Renewal Project and more recently the Port of Hastings Development Project. She has comprehensive experience across all aspects of environment and planning law including development approvals, environmental compliance, planning and environmental litigation, climate change, contaminated land and water nuisance, together with Native title and land access and acquisition.
