Corrs is renowned for its work in relation to IT disputes. Our involvement in IT transactions, our IT qualifications and experience as well as a strong litigation practice gives us a unique mix in assisting clients in relation to IT related disputes. We act for both vendors and users in relation to the failure of computer systems, software licensing disputes and intellectual property ownership disputes (including ownership claims by former employees).

Our successes in this area go back as far as the landmark decision of Venture Holidays v Touche Ross in the 1980’s and more recently, we were successful in acting for BHP IT in the GEC v Marconi case.
