Glen Smith

Glen has extensive experience in acting for major financiers and borrowers, practising in all areas of banking and finance law including securities law, overseas note issuance programs, securitisations and receiverships. He has been involved in a number of foreign note issuance programs and infrastructure financings, and advises frequently in relation to insolvency, workouts and schemes of arrangements. He also has an active involvement in relation to the Health Industry with an emphasis on the financing and commercial aspects of co-location projects. Glen is the former National Chairman of the Banking, Finance and Consumer Credit Committee of the Law Council of Australia, the Secretary and a committee member of the Banking Law Association and a member of the Finance and Securities Law Committee, Queensland Law Society Inc.
