Jaclyn has a background in regulated mergers and acquisitions with a particular emphasis on takeovers and schemes of arrangement. She has been involved in a number of high profile M&A transactions including acting for Gem Diamonds in its takeover of Kimberley Diamonds and BG Group in its contested takeover of Pure Energy. In 2007 Jaclyn spent seven months on secondment to the Takeovers Panel.

In addition to M&A Jaclyn has also been involved in several significant equity raisings such as the $2.6 billion initial public offering of shares in Goodman Fielder Limited, Fairfax Media’s SPS hybrid issue to partially fund its Trade Me acquisition, and Seven Network’s issue of TELYS3 preference shares.

Jaclyn also has experience in corporate restructures, ASIC and ASX regulatory work, foreign investment regulations and general corporate and commercial transactions.
