Healthy Cases: 80 or more professional attendances per day - what constitutes exceptional circumstances?

It is prima facie evidence of inappropriate practice for a general practitioner to render or initiate 80 or more professional attendances per day on each of 20 or more days in a 12 month period. This is unless a general practitioner can establish that there are "exceptional circumstances" so that particular day or days should not be counted towards the 20 days.
