The WA Government has indicated its intent to get serious on mine safety, with the fast tracking of the Kenner Report. Delivered eight months ahead of time as a result of a number of mine site accidents in WA, Commissioner Kenner’s report into mine safety in WA raises a number of concerns in relation to the Mines Safety and Inspection Act 1994 (WA).
