The Federal Government has released its foreshadowed discussion paper on “creeping acquisitions”. The paper outlines two possible legislative approaches and seeks public comment on these approaches, and in relation to creeping acquisitions generally, by 10 October 2008. The paper specifically states that it does not reflect a settled position.
