David has 14 years experience advising major clients including the Packer family, PBL, Consolidated Press, ANZ, Westpac, Nestle, Westfield, ING Real Estate and Challenger. Prior to joining Corrs he was an Executive Director of a Big 4 firm's international tax division and was posted to its New York office in 1999/2000 to advise on Australia/USA cross-border deals.

David provides practical and commercial advice utilising his dual experience and qualifications in law and accounting to identify the broader impacts and develop workable solutions tailored to the client's business priorities and risk profile. He specialises in income tax and capital gains tax with a focus on divestments, acquisitions, reorganisations, capital management, international tax and specific sectors (real estate, financial services, energy and resources). David also has significant experience with large scale revenue authority audits and disputes.

In addition to his legal qualifications, David is a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia.
