Robert is a leading M&A lawyer, and undertakes considerable strategic restructuring and acquisitions advice for major clients of the firm. He has extensive experience in the media, having been involved in acquisitions of a diverse range of media businesses, as well as regulation and operational issues. Robert has wide experience in employee and executive share and option plans and has been involved in capital raisings by companies and listings on the Australian Stock Exchange. As part of his corporate law practice, Robert has played a significant role in many corporate regulatory enquiries and appeals from administrative decisions. He advises on directors duties, financial accounting and a range of issues affecting both listed and unlisted companies. Until its recent acquisition by Fairfax, Robert had been the Chairman of Directors of The Border Morning Mail Limited.
