Corrs CEO appointed Deputy Chair of Australia Council for the Arts

Corrs Partner and CEO John W.H. Denton has been appointed Deputy Chair of the Australia Council for the Arts. The Council is the Australian Government's arts funding and advisory body.

In his announcement today, Minister for the Arts, Peter Garrett, congratulated John on his appointment, commenting John’s “mix of business, legal and arts sector skills is a great asset to the position of Deputy Chair of the Council.”

John joins James Strong AO who was reappointed as Chair of the Australia Council.

John’s list of leadership roles include: one of Australia's three representatives on the APEC Business Advisory Council, Board Member of the Business Council of Australia, Deputy Chair of the Melbourne International Arts Festival and a former Cultural Attache to Moscow.
