Corrs partner appointed to CASA Board

Corrs partner Trevor Danos has been appointed to the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) Board. CASA is one of the nation’s key aviation safety agencies.

The appointment flows from landmark legislation passed through Parliament last month, creating a new five member expert board for CASA.

In his announcement, The Hon Anthony Albanese MP, Minister for Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government said “the intellectual calibre and diverse experiences of the individuals being appointed underscores the determination of the Rudd Labor Government to preserve public confidence in the safety and reliability of air travel”.

Trevor is President of the Science Foundation for Physics at the University of Sydney.
