30 April 2009
Corrs has been recognised today as Australia’s best law firm to work for in BRW’s inaugural list of 50 Great Places to Work in Australia.
Employees were asked to independently assess the workplace culture of their firm in a detailed study by the Great Place to Work™ Institute, which conducts and publishes national benchmarking studies in more than 30 countries around the world, including in Fortune magazine in the United States.
Last month, Corrs was named an Employer of Choice by Australasian Legal Business (ALB) in its 2009 Survey.
Corrs was ranked as the leading law firm in the Asia Pacific region for work/life balance and in the top three for professional development and training.
Alexis Navie, Corrs National Human Resources Manager said: "It's all about creating an inspiring workplace for our people. These are both awards for our people by our people - and it means a lot to us. We regularly seek their feedback to ensure we are continually improving our workplace with initiatives such as international internships and scholarships and an expanding range of flexible working options".
This recognition adds to the firm’s growing list of acknowledgements in the employment area, which include:
