Richard Leder practises as a media lawyer and commercial litigator. He advises The Herald and Weekly Times, Channel Seven, radio 3AW and a number of other newspaper clients including Geelong Advertiser, Leader Community Newspapers and the Elliott newspaper group. He also acts for various private clients, both plaintiffs and defendants.

Richard is also an experienced commercial litigator. He has conducted complex and lengthy proceedings in Victorian and federal jurisdictions. He has a particular interest in ADR and is experienced in settling complex and lengthy disputes through commercial negotiations. He is a recognised expert on legal professional privilege. His litigation experience includes contract, negligence and particularly professional negligence, IT, media, trade practices, Corporations Act proceedings, banking and partnership disputes.
