Mark Schwarzer visits Corrs for UNHCR Desk Drive

Corrs recently hosted the launch of “The Kids’ Desk Drive“, a joint project between SchoolAid and the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR).

SchoolAid is a student-led philanthropic organisation that seeks to empower Australian children to help less fortunate children around the world.

The project aims to encourage Australian school children to raise money for school desks in the Democratic Republic of Congo DRC.

Mark Schwarzer, the Socceroos goalkeeper, was a guest at the launch. Mark is a special representative for the UNHCR Australia and talked about his experiences visiting refugee camps on the border of Thailand and Burma.
