Nicholas is Partner-in-Charge of our Perth office, and leads our Perth workplace relations practice.

In workplace relations he deals in industrial relations, employment law, health and safety and discrimination. His practice focuses on the strategic management of major organisational change, restructures and acquisitions of businesses, and dispute resolution.

He also practises in general litigation matters including town planning, environment and other related approval disputes, and general commercial disputes.

Prior to joining Corrs, he worked as a legal officer for a major trade union in WA, and for a leading labour law firm in Melbourne. He has worked as a solicitor in Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia, and is admitted to practise in the Northern Territory.

Nick is a regular public speaker, and is the author of articles on industrial relations, environment legislation, mining law and other topics appearing in journals such as the Australian Resources and Energy Law Journal, and the Australian Journal of Labour Law. He is a member of the National Committee of the Australian Labour Law Association.

Nick appears as counsel in various jurisdictions including the Federal Court, State Supreme Courts, Fair Work Australia, administrative law tribunals, equal opportunity tribunals, and other jurisdictions. He works with clients from a range of industry sectors, including petroleum, mining, construction, utilities, state and Commonwealth government, health, labour hire, insurance and other sectors.
